Welcome to the Traffic Safety & Enforcement Unit

The NBPD Traffic Safety & Enforcement Unit is tasked with investigating and enforcing traffic concerns which affect the vehicular and pedestrian infrastructure within the city. In addition to traffic control and violation enforcement, the TSEU investigates all serious and fatal motor vehicle accidents. The TSEU also regulates the operation of licensed taxi cabs and tow trucks within the city, in addition to overseeing the City’s School Safety Crossing Guards.
